LSSN
Sharing the love of St. Valentine, the monthly food donation theme for February is “Gifts from the Heart.” Suggested food items for the month are: boxed foods such as mashed potatoes, rice, stuffing, macaroni & cheese, Jell-O & pudding mixes, cereals, instant soups, and Hamburger or Tuna Helper. Please place all donations in the LSSN bin in the Narthex.
Don’t forget to participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring fundraiser for LSSN taking place at St. Andrew on Sundays January 29 and February 5! Our teens will be collecting money and cereal boxes after each service in the Narthex.
Volunteers play a vital role at Lutheran Social Services of Nevada. They allow the agency to serve clients in the Clark County area with love and compassion. Whether your talent is working on special projects, assisting in the food pantry, stuffing envelopes, fund raising, or contributing in a myriad of other ways, you can make a positive contribution to the lives of every individual that steps through the doors of LSSN.
In order to keep things safe and efficient for everyone, all of LSSN’s volunteers go through training and processing before starting. So please call ahead at 702-639-1730 to begin your volunteering process.
