Sunday School for Adults
Gain greater insights into
God's word. During our class, we look more deeply into
the Gospel as to how it affected life in Jesus' day and then
how it affects our life today.
These classes are open to every adult member of St. Andrew
Lutheran Church. Pick up a cup of coffee (and a few cookies)
and join us in the Fellowship Hall (Sunday at 8:30 a.m.) or
in the Council Room (10:00 a.m.) for a lively discussion. John
Mestemacher leads the 8:30 class and Ruth Pfaff the 10:00 class. |

Pericope Study
Please join us for a lively discussion
of the Bible passages assigned
for the following Sunday's worship services, led by Pastor
Phil. Pericope
(pronounced pe-ric-o-pee) comes from a Greek word meaning "the
act of cutting." As we read the lectionaries that
have been "cut" from the Bible, we focus on the historical
context of each passage and what message we, as modern-day
disciples of Christ, should draw for our own lives. We
also love offering suggestions to Pastor Phil for his upcoming
sermon! |

Bible Study
If you prefer to study the Bible book
by book, you might prefer our Wednesday morning study session
which begins at 9:00 a.m. and is also led by Pastor Phil. |
